"This World of Shapes" Book Launch
Jeanie Riddle and David Ayala-Alfonso in conversation.

Join artist Jeanie Riddle and contributing editor David Ayala-Alfonso as they discuss Riddle’s current exhibition at Livart and launch her first major monograph, This World of Shapes. Spanning decades of practice, the book offers an expansive view of Riddle’s artistic work. Moving beyond familiar interpretations that seek to explain an artist’s practice through the circumstances of their personal life, the conversation will consider some of the material and conceptual questions that run through Jeanie’s work, including muscularity, the physicality of making, and the difficulties of engaging with the unknown.
